Have a question for us? If you can’t find the information you need in these frequently asked questions, we’d love to hear from you.
- What is House of Leopard?
House of Leopard is an online boutique and lifestyle brand that’s the home of all things leopard. We offer a selection of unique leopard print products across fashion, accessories, interiors and gifts.
- Where do you source your products?
We work with a small group of independent designers and makers. As a female owned lifestyle brand we want to champion and empower women which is why most of our partners are female-led businesses too. The majority of the products we stock are created by women who live and work in the UK. We’re also designing and manufacturing our own products, and will launch these very soon!
- Why leopard?
Leopard is a fascinating print. It’s bold, it’s brash, it’s elegant, it’s luxurious – but most of all it’s powerful. If you want to find out more about why leopard is so iconic, we highly recommend reading two of this year’s hottest books: Leopard: Fashion’s Most Powerful Print by Hilary Alexander and The History of Leopard Print by Jo Weldon.
- Do you sell fur?
No, all of the leopard products offered by House of Leopard are imitation only. We do not condone the use of exotic animal skins or real fur, however a few of our products are made using animal hides such as cow.
- Who runs House of Leopard?
House of Leopard was founded in the summer of 2018 by sisters, Rebecca and Rachael. What started out as a frustrated conversation about the lack of quality leopard products on the high-street, quickly turned into something much bigger.
- How can I find out more?
You can sign up to our fortnightly newsletter, The Leopard List, from the homepage. This will deliver the latest House of Leopard news direct to your inbox. Be the first to find out about our newest products and read highlights from the blog – including regular spotlights on our partners.
WORK WITH US
- I’m a designer of leopard products, how do I become a partner of House of Leopard?
If you’re interested in working with House of Leopard please email email@example.com. For the time being our business model is drop-shipping, which means we won’t be able to place a wholesale order with you. Instead we work on an order by order basis and our partners hold all inventory for us. Alternatively you could become an affiliate. If you’re interested in finding out more about either option, get in touch with us.
While the majority of our partners are female-led businesses that are based in the UK, we’re open to working with diverse brands to bring our customers the very best edit of leopard products. Whether you’re a male designer and maker or your business is based outside the UK, we’d love to hear from you. We never get tired of hearing about cool leopard products either, so if you’ve seen something you think we should stock, email us your recommendations.
- I’m a manufacturer/ brand/ cool person interested in collaborating, how do I get in touch?
If you’d like to work with us on a collaboration we would love to hear from you. You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Do you use affiliate links?
Yes, you’ll find that a small number of products for sale on House of Leopard can be purchased via an affiliate link. This link will take you to the website of one of our partners to complete your purchase. These links contain a code which remembers how you arrived at their website and allows us to earn a small commission through any resulting sales. Typically we use affiliate links for products designed and manufactured outside the UK, but not in all cases. Where affiliate links are used, there will be clear signposting.
- How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs typically range from £1 to £12, depending on the product. A small number of our partners offer free delivery on all of their products. You can find out the delivery charges for each product on the relevant product page.
- I’m buying more than one item, do I have to pay multiple delivery charges?
Yes. As we work with several independent designers and makers who will despatch your order for us, you can expect your items to be sent from different locations. For the time being that means a delivery cost per item. More details on delivery charges and time frames can be found on the relevant product page.
- Why does the delivery of some products take longer or cost more?
Each product is kindly sent to you directly by our partners, therefore the cost and method of delivery will vary. Some of our products are made to order so you may have to wait slightly longer to receive certain items, however all of the details (including prices, international shipping options and delivery times) are clearly displayed on the relevant product page.
- What should I do if I don’t receive my purchase?
If your item hasn’t arrived within the delivery time frame stated on the relevant product page, please contact us by emailing email@example.com. Please clearly state your order number in all correspondence.
- How do I return/ exchange an item?
We hope you’ll love your leopard purchase as much as we do, however should you wish to return or exchange an item, you must complete our Request a Refund form within 21 days of receiving your purchase. We will not process any refunds requested more than 21 days after you receive your purchase. The refund information for each product can be found on the relevant product page and you should read this carefully before completing your purchase. You should also read our Delivery and Returns Policy.
- Are there any partners who don’t offer refunds?
Yes, our partners who do not currently offer refunds are: Barbeline, Oak and the Little Folk
- What happens after I Request a Refund?
If your request for a refund meets the conditions outlined in our Delivery and Returns Policy, you will receive a refund code and a return address by email. You must include the refund code both on the packaging and within your parcel to ensure your refund is processed correctly. All refund requests will be processed within five working days.
- What if an item I receive is faulty?
Full refunds and exchanges will also be provided if your items are damaged or defective, however you must still complete our Request a Refund form within 21 days of receiving your purchase.
- How long will it take to get my money back?
Please allow up to seven business days for a refund, once we have received your item.
- Who pays for postage on a refund?
We do not offer paid return shipping labels at this time, and shipping fees are non-refundable.
- What happens if you don’t receive my returned item?
We take no responsibility for returned items that get lost in the post, so please ensure you retain the appropriate proof of postage and tracking information.
- I’ve sent you a return without completing the Request a Refund form. What happens now?
Please do not attempt to return any items to us (or our partners) without first completing our Request a Refund form. We need to approve your refund and provide the most suitable return address. Any unauthorised items sent to the House of Leopard registered business address will be returned to sender, and where no return address is provided, items will be destroyed.
- Can I return an item I bought through an affiliate link?
If you choose to buy an item using an affiliate link, your order will be placed directly with a partner and it will be subject to their terms and conditions. Further information regarding the delivery and returns policies of our partners can be found on their websites and we do not accept responsibility for any issues arising from such purchases.
